Leia is a young, energetic pup with a heart full of love and a nose ready for adventure! This sweet girl wants to play so badly-she'll whine with excitement just to get closer to her fellow dogs. She's got a bouncy spirit that sometimes gets the best of her, but with the right guidance, she's learning to channel all that energy into fun and focus.

Leia enjoys exploring new places, from sniffing around the garage to taking curious walks in the basement. Outside, she's still learning to feel safe-sometimes she's eager and fixated on other dogs, while other times, she's a little skittish and prefers to stay close to shelter. She's a work in progress, but with patience and love, she's sure to gain confidence!

She's a smart cookie, too! Leia knows how to sit and give her paw, and she's starting to enjoy pets once she feels comfortable. She's highly alert, taking in everything around her, and while she may not always be in the mood for cuddles, she's slowly warming up to touch. She's even learning that harness time isn't so bad-especially when there are treats involved!
