Champ was left homeless with no one to care for him after the unexpected passing of his pet parent. He bounced from family to family in hopes of finding his new home. But without any luck, Champ started to shut down.

In need of some medical attention, Champ received dental work and the right veterinarian services he needed to get back on his feet. But after experiencing the death of his pet parent and losing everything he had once known, he laid in the corner of his kennel eyes glued to the floor. Not wanting to eat or engage with anyone, we knew he needed to be quickly placed in a foster home.

During his first week with his foster family, Champ only knew sleep. But as he felt the warmth and love he once knew, he slowly began to come out of his shell. After 3 long weeks, and with the help of his foster brother, Champ found the pep in his step.

He started to return to the big, lively dog he used to be – and then something amazing happened, he found his forever family.
