Barney ate a cob of corn this summer and came to us in need of urgent surgery as the corn had caused an obstruction in his digestive system.
Barney was in pain, so it was crucial to act quickly. The operation to remove the cob of corn was a success and Barney was given antibiotics and painkillers to help with his healing. Barney stayed in our care for weeks while he recovered.
