Below is a message from Linus who has found a home with our family.

“I was adopted on Friday, January 17th by my new people family Gillian, Gordon and Miriam, and Akeyah who often visits. I was given this amazing sanctuary in their first-floor bathroom.  I was a little hesitant, still being uncertain if I was going to stay. Soon I realized I had everything I needed here. A vanity to hide under, where it was nice and quiet, a water bowl, a litter box with clean litter; and the floors are heated, so good for my old joints!

If you look closely, you’ll see a photo of me on my ‘throne’.  They take lots of photos of me, like they’ve been waiting to show me off! Within a couple of days, I found out there was a world beyond my sanctuary, but I always knew I could return to my safe space.

Now almost 2 ½ weeks later, I wonder all over the 1st floor and even down to the basement where Miriam lives.  I’ve found so many hiding places down there.  The good thing is, I can hear when they come into the kitchen to feed me, that’s where I have my feed/water station.  I can’t tell you how much fun I am having.  I scamper up and down stairs, I have so many toys in each of my spaces. My people are slowly realizing they’re now MY spaces! I love my new home.”

Well as you can see Linus has said it all. We certainly love having Linus as part of our family.  He settled in very well and has even had his first visit with his new vet.
