At Toronto Humane Society, we believe in the power of community and the magic that happens when people come together for a common cause. Today, we are overjoyed to share with you a beautiful initiative that embodies these values: the release of the children’s book, For the Love of Animals.
For the Love of Animals is not just a book; it’s a testament to the love and respect we have for our furry friends. This charming book was written and illustrated by the creative students at Pleasant Public School, under the guidance of their teacher, Matt Kernaghan. Through their stories and artwork, these young minds have captured the essence of how animals enrich our lives and the deep bonds we share with them.
This project was created by Malcolm Bernstein, Founder of the Benjamin Project, and Lisa Browning, Publisher at One Thousand Trees. Their shared passion for animal welfare and education led to this incredible collaboration, aiming to inspire young readers and support local humane societies and animal shelters.
We are thrilled to announce that all proceeds from the sale of For the Love of Animals will be donated to Toronto Humane Society. By purchasing this book, you are directly contributing to our efforts to provide care, shelter, and love to animals in need. Your support helps us continue our mission to Improve the lives of countless animals every year.
For $15.00, you can own a copy of this delightful book and make a meaningful contribution to animal welfare. For the Love of Animals makes a perfect gift for children, families, and animal lovers of all ages. By sharing this book with your friends and family, you are spreading awareness and encouraging others to support a worthy cause.
