Martika

Martika

I just wanted to send a quick update on Martika. She came home with me on Friday and I have to say she has one of the best temperaments I’ve ever seen. She’s settled in so well, has made tons of play buddies, and is just such a happy girl. I could not possibly be more thrilled to have her smile

She’s made best friends with my family’s dachshund (they have played relentlessly all weekend) and is currently curled up fast asleep. When she left THS she tested positive for Giardia and had apparently been having some diarrhea, but her stool is now totally solid and she’s getting used to an active and regular routine. She’s just a really lovely little girl.

I’d also really like to personally thank THS for thier help with the adoption process. They did a truly amazing job and I don’t think I would have ended up with Martie without their help.

Missy

Missy

As a volunteer at the THS, I was always visiting the ‘pups’ and decided to be become a Foster. My heart always felt for the Seniors.

I got a call in early 2017 that 4 poodle sisters (and a few others) were in need of fostering and if I would be interested in helping one of them. That is when Missy came into our lives.

Timid at first, not sure of things, a couple of accidents but so wanting to be loved we knew quickly that we would be adopting her! After some time to get her medically a-ok she officially became a part of our family.

It is so very true that they find you! Missy is the an absolute doll and we cannot think of what it was like before she joined our clan! Love her to bits!
