Eleven years ago, I went to “just visit” the cats at THS. A big ginger meowed loudly as I passed by.

His call stuck with me I walked from room to room.

Two hours later, I was back at the house, lifting “Blue” out of the cardboard carrier supplied by THS. After taking a moment to orient himself, he walked over to the sofa, jumped up, and settled in.

He was home.

Over the next decade, Isaac aka Blue ruled the roost, and showed me nothing but unconditional love. Sweet, gentle, and loyal, he enjoyed hanging out with my friends and family, and his scrappy yet musical meows — especially when wanting food (note that I didn’t say “when he was hungry”!) — always kept the house from feeling empty.

Isaac, thank you for choosing me and for the joy you brought to our home. You and your little nose bites are deeply missed. You were a one-of-a kind cat, my boy.

We brought Thor home from THS just before Christmas, little did we know he would be the greatest addition to our family.

He is always getting compliments about how handsome he is.

Thor loves playing with all his toys and going for walks with his new friends in the neighbourhood. He even graduated from puppy school earlier this year!

Thor is happiest spending his time laying in the sun in the backyard and will do anything for a treat.

He has adjusted so well and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Thank you THS.

When we first got Solar, she was in a foster-to-adopt situation. She had come from a reserve and had been living with other animals. She was small and malnourished with a few health issues. Her coat was thin, had a broken fang, a minor skin condition, and had been pregnant twice before she turned 1 years old. She also has a bit of a heart condition. When I had met her, whenever I got close to her kennel or spoke she would trill or meow softly, and that’s when I knew she was meant for me.

Now, Solar is SO much better. After a few health examinations (thanks THS!) she is very playful and loves making new friends. Solar has brought us a lot of happiness and brings in the positive vibes into our household. Always loving, accepting, and very sweet.

Thank you so much THS for making sure she was well cleared medically to prepare her for her furever home. She is getting so much love and affection, I can tell she is really happy with us!
