Jaxson

Jaxson

September 29, 2014

Dear THS

We are celebrating Jaxson’s 1 yr anniversary with us.

Jaxson has become a wonderful addition to our family and a great companion to Tiko, our other dog.

Jaxson enjoys the cottage life, he truly enjoys going in the boat and basking in the sun.

If he is not playing with Tiko in the backyard he can be found close to mom who claims Jaxson is a ladies dog.

We are glad to have Jaxson as part of our family.

Hey there THS!!

Just wanted to let you know just how much Monkey has enriched and made my life so much better! I adopted him from you guys about a month and a half ago and he’s been a rambunctious and fun little dork! He’s made friends with my current cat and the two of them get along swimmingly.

Also I would like to thank you guys for taking care of him when I brought him in with his upper repository infection. You were very attentive and wonderfully accommodating when I came to visit him during his week long stay getting better. Thank you again for this adorable and handsome little man in my life!

Matt

Peia

Peia

September 26, 2014

It’s been 1 month since I’ve adopted my sweetheart Peia. The joy she has brought into my life I can’t even explain. I want to thank The Toronto Humane Society for bringing in the 19 Chihuahuas from California in Aug 2014. Who knows what the faith of those 19 amazing dog would have been if you hadn’t rescued them.

Piea has been a joy. She has such a spunky personality and is such a good dog, I enjoy making her life as happy as she has made mine. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who put up with my daily visits while I was waiting for her to be ready for adoption and to everyone there at THS who got her to good heath and ready for adoption.

Thank You.

Almost three months ago I adopted my three rats from THS. Now, I can’t imagine a time when they weren’t a part of my family. They almost immediately explored there new home. They are curious and loving. You can not expect to eat anything in peace, as they want to be a part of all meals! Nothing gets by them and it is difficult to outsmart them for long. I love my new rats. They make amazing pets and all three of them have extremely different personalities. I would highly recommend pet rats to anybody!

Best Regards,

Milo

Milo

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to email you guys to let you know that Milo (formerly Petey) has been having a blast since he was adopted into our home last Saturday.

We’re very luck to have a friend like Milo. He’s energetic, sociable, and very affectionate. He surely knows how to make you smile, even when you come home from having a bad day at work.

He loves his new home in High Park and has easily made tons of new doggy friends over the course of a few days. But I mean—that comes to no surprise. He has such a contagious personality.

We just wanted to say thank you again to Amy & Jennifer for making this possible. They were nothing less than amazing.

I attached a few pictures of Milo, enjoying the last few days here, in his new home. He’s even become a little Instagram star. You can follow him @Milo_XCV just to follow his daily life and all his fun adventures.

Thank you guys for everything & hello from Milo. smile

I’ve adopted Miles with the purpose of being my dog’s companion but It turned out being my companion. He follows me every here I go. If I sit down on my bed he jumps on my lap and looks at me with those yellow eyes and begs me for some petting. Hes lovely, caring and very smart.

Lexi

Hi!

I realize it’s only been a few days since i’ve adopted Desdemona (now known as Lexi), but i wanted to share a quick update.

Lexi is settling in well in her new life. On her first night with me, she was lounging in her crate as soon as it was set up, and spent the night in it without any prompting. At home, she is very calm, and quite content to lounge at my feet, chew on her Kong, or request a belly rub. Outside, she loves our long early morning walks, and she is a ball-fetching dynamo at night – nothing can distract her from that ball in your hand… not even squirrels! Overall, she is showing so much potential, and I’ve already seen lots of improvement in her over the last few days.

Attached are a few photos that a photographer friend took of her at Sunnybrook Park last Saturday; the Instagram shot was taken on her first long walk with me last Friday morning.

I’m really lucky i got to take her home. Thank you to all your staff who made it possible smile

Cheers,

G

Birdie

Birdie

September 15, 2014

To the staff and volunteers of cat department,

Birdie is thriving in her new home. She loves climbing the drying rack and changing the bed. We have bonded completely, she love to snuggle almost as much as she loves to play. It took her roughly three hours to get comfortable in my apartment and now she owns it. Needless to say we are both all smiles. As you can see she also likes to help me work.

Flossie

Flossie

September 13, 2014

Dear THS,

It’s been about ten days since I brought Flare (now Florence, Flossie for short) home, and two weeks since I fell in love with her at first sight. She made herself completely at home within minutes; she loves to be petted, and loves to be near me. She is a sweet, funny, beautiful, affectionate little sprite.

I’ve attached a photo of her in her pup tent (which she claimed within minutes of arriving), and showing off her pink toes during a nap.

Thank you for the work you do for animals like Flossie, and human animals like me!

Best,

Shelley
