Monday and Thursday from 9:30 am-12:00 pm.
Lifting heavy boxes and bags is a large part of this role.

Foster Program (URGENTLY NEEDED!)
Foster volunteers provide temporary homes for orphaned, immature, sick or injured animals that need the warmth and comfort of a caring environment. Food, supplies, medication and veterinary services are provided. You will require a vehicle and flexible hours to both pick up and drop off animals at the shelter. Separate Application Required.

Special Events
The Toronto Humane Society hosts or partners in numerous community and fundraising events every year. This is both a fun way to help and an effective way to raise awareness and support for the shelter.  On call.

Transport a variety of wildlife animals to Earth Rangers in Woodbridge. You must have a car and we will reimburse you for the mileage. We ask that you commit to a minimum of 12 trips a year.
Currently we are in urgent need of three volunteers who can commit to driving either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday in the afternoons.
