Bushy the Squirrel

Bushy was brought to The Toronto Humane Society after he'd fallen out of a tree as a baby. As a result, he lost the use of his hind legs. He's being well cared for at the THS Wildlife Rehab Centre, in the hope that he'll regain use of his legs. In the meantime, he's kept warm, safe and well-fed and likes to climb and jump around in his large cage.

  • The Society's Wildlife Rehabilitation Department cares for injured and immature animals. The Toronto Humane Society has cared for a variety of wild animals such as owls, hawks, deer, foxes, beavers, and raccoons. We have the expertise and knowledge to help rehabilitate these animals. The Shelter has both indoor and outdoor facilities to keep our wild animals safe.
