Mission Statement: To promote the humane care and protection of all animals and to prevent cruelty and suffering.

The Toronto Humane Society Communications and Fundraising Departments create educational programs and resources, as well as host various special events, such as:

  • Animaltalk
  • Humane Education
  • Various promotions and special events, such as Be Kind to Animals Week, to focus the public's attention on responsible pet ownership, adoption opportunities and humane animal treatment.
