Animals with Challenges

Become a Foster Parent

All cats available for adoption in this section require an experienced guardian.

All dogs in this section are “Trained Dogs” and are considered to be animals with certain challenges. In all cases they will require experienced guardians (sometimes living in a rural environment may be the best suggestion) who have dealt with difficult dogs in the past. Potential adopters should have owned dogs with similar behaviour issues in the past, must possess obedience skills, patience and above all, be committed to working through potential problems and providing these dogs with a permanent and stable home which they have never had.

Animal type: Dog

Princess
A079356
Spayed
Female
unknown

Princess is a very lovable dog that would make a great companion for an experienced dog owner. She would be happiest in a home with no other animals because she does not always get along with them! Currently, Princess is available for foster only because she requires dental surgery before she is adoptable. If you are interested in fostering Princess, please come down to 11 River Street and speak with an adoption counselor.

For more information call 416.392.2273.
